Rosemary Hall believes in the full development of the child, and encourages our Morning Session children to participate in the full range of Extended Day activities available to them.
These activities aim to develop character and social skills through play, foster creativity and agility, and develop an appreciation for the Arts.
We currently run English Speech and Drama Classes for 3-6 Year Olds in the afternoons, as well as Music and Movement. Both these enrichment programs are hosted by specialist providers in their field.
Our Mandarin Speech and Drama for 2-6 Year Olds is also conducted in the afternoons and is an in-house program developed to foster a love and effective command of the Mandarin language through fun activities such songs, pupettry and art.
Music and Movement- New! Introducing Angela Mee Lee who has worked at International schools in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore; most recently completing the last 2 years at United World College of South East Asia

Movement and Dance classes are some of the best loved by Kindergarteners as an outlet for expanding their innate energy and excitement in life. We encourage ample physical exercise through free play at our indoor and outdoor playgrounds, as well as through structured classes that develop coordination, balance, flexibility, strength, stamina, discipline and memory. Being active in this way also helps boost a child’s self-esteem, makes them feel good about their own abilities and increases their self-confidence. Speech and Drama
Apart from enhancing language, drama strengthens imagination, confidence, self-expression, spontaniety, adaptibility and social competence.
Our Speech and Drama Classes are run by Centre-Stage School of the Arts, who have been providing training in performing arts, dance and creative play from 6 months to adult, for more than 10 years. Centre-Stage was founded in 1999 by Peter Hodgson and Alison Tompkins to create an environment in which children can use drama to explore both the imaginative and the concrete world. Peter and Alison started their careers as two London based actors, and very soon found their work to be dominated by educational and children's theatre. It was a natural progression then to build on experience and qualify as Speech and Drama teachers. The aim was to create the "drama club" style of class so readily available in the UK, Australia and the US. This could only be done with a team of experienced facilitators. The strength of the school is in its staff. All of the full time teachers trained primarily as performers and completed courses in UK or Australian drama schools and universities, many have worked and continue to work in the theatre and on television. In addition, they are experienced teachers in their own fields and it is this combination of experience, practical application and theoretical expertise allows students a rich and vivid understanding of the numerous applications of the performing and creative arts.
