Classes

The School doors will be open from 8.30AM to 7PM, Mondays to Fridays.

Core Programs:
8.30AM- 12.30PM: Morning Session
8.30AM- 3.30PM: Extended Day Session
8.30AM- 6.00PM: Full Day Session

Intensive Montessori Preparation Classes:
1.30PM-3.30PM (3x a week): 2+ to 3+ Year Olds-' Early Foundation Math and Phonics Work
1.30- 3.30 PM (5x a week): Preparation for Grade 1 Class for 4-6 Year Olds- covers Math, Literacy and Mandarin with Character Building

At Rosemary Hall we encourage the learning of at least 2 Languages for the child. The learning of languages builds thinking skills as well as social and cultural awareness, and opens a world of opportunity to the child. Learning a foreign language develops the brain: in order to assimilate new sounds and information, new neural connections are formed. The child also expands his ability the communicate by widening his repertoire of nuances and expressions, and builds an awareness and appreciation of different cultures. Our daily Mandarin classes use art, movement, music and play to build an interest and keen grasp of the language and a Mandarin teacher will work alongside our English speaking teachers constantly.

Afternoon enrichment classes are run by our Specialist Partners in Speech and Drama, Music and Ballet.

Class Types

Classes range from Nursery 1 to Kindergarten 2.  We also run a Playgroup for 18 month olds to prepare them for entry to Nursery 1.

Class allocation:

Each Montessori class will be led by a fully qualified Montessori teacher and assisted by an assistant teacher. In order to provide each child with the care and attention needed for progress, the ratio of teachers to children for each level will not exceed the following:
